Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick was the daughter of Janice
Cooke, an accountant and William Kendrick (a teacher). Michael Cooke Kendrick
is her older brother, and was also an actor. She is of English, Irish, and
Scottish descent.For her role as "Dinah" in "High Society"
on Broadway, Anna Kendrick was nominated for the Tony Award (second youngest
ever) as well as the Drama Desk Award, and a Fany Award (best actress featured
in the musical). Her spectacular performance landed her the Drama League and
Theatre World Award.She was a lead singer with Cabaret's Kit Kat Club at
"Carnegie Hall Live" in Great Performances: My Favorite Broadway: The
Leading Ladies (1999) (TV). The actress had the privilege of working with
choreographer Scott Ellis, choreographer Susan Stroman along with other famous
performers in the New York City Opera House. Anna starred in Camp (2003) and
was nominated for the Broadway Tony Award for Best actress (Featured role for
Musical) for her role in High Society. She was the second-youngest nominee in
Tony history (after 1991's Tony winner, Daisy Eagan). In Tony the past, George
Clooney made fun of her when she worked with Scott Ellis and Susan Stroman at
the New York Opera House. Anna was a part of Camp (2003) and was nominated in
the 1998 Tony Award for the Best Actress (Featured Role Musical) for "High
Society." Nominated in 2010 in between the second and the third film in
