Zachary Galifianakis

Zachary Knight Galifianakis (Greek pronunciation 1 October 1969) was a famous American actor, comedian, musician, writer, and comedian. He was a comic, actor and host of Late World with Zach (VH1) Galifianakis is a regular in many films including The Hangover Trilogy (2009-2013), Due Date (2010). The Campaign (2012), Birdman or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance (2014) as well as Masterminds (2016). He has voiced characters in animated films, including Puss in Boots (2011), The Lego Batman Movie (2017), Missing Link (2019), and Ron's Gone Gone Wrong (2021). Galifianakis hosts the Funny or Die website chat show Between Two Ferns. Galifianakis has appeared in the FX series Baskets. He was nominated in 2017 for the Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Lead Actor in Comedy Series. Zachary Knight Galifianakis, a North Carolina native, was born on the 1st of October, 1969 in Wilkesboro. He is the child of Mary Frances (nee Cashion), and Harry Galifianakis, a heating oil dealer. His mother is English and Scottish-Irish, while his paternal grandparents originate from Crete. His father was an Greek Orthodox Christian and he was Baptized. He is the father of Merritt, a younger sister, and Greg the older brother. His cousin is Washington Post cartoonist Nick Galifianakis as well as his uncle, who is also known as Nick Galifianakis, is a politician. Galifianakis attended Wilkes Central High School and then attended North Carolina State University where he was a communications student. In college was working for an access point for the public. He was a teacher of the waltz in 1991, when he met Mary J. Blige. Following his TV debut Boston Common, Galifianakis joined Saturday Night Live for two weeks. He claimed that he had been host of Saturday Night Live host for two weeks, and Britney was my host the week before. I wrote a sketch. Will Ferrell was act as a bodyguard to her belly button and we planned to shrink Will down to fit the belly button. When I explained the idea to her, she just stared at my sketch. Then she said "Oh, that's hilarious.'" Galifianakis was Out Cold's main character and also had minor roles in Below, Bubble Boy, Heartbreakers and Into the Wild.
