Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin, the Republic of Ireland, on the 11th of November 1996. Model as well as an Irish actress. Doody's first leading role came in a 1988 episode of Jim Henson fantasy series The Storyteller as Sapsorrow alongside John Hurt Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders. She starred alongside Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) prior to taking perhaps her most well-known role in her career in the role of Austrian Nazi-sympathiser as well as archaeologist the Dr. Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade playing opposite Harrison Ford. Doody is a member of the James Bond family, having acted along with Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Final Crusade. In 1991 Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce in British mini-series Selling Hitler inspired by the published fraud known as The Hitler Diaries. Then, she moved to Hollywood. She was replaced by Cybill Shepherd as the L'Oreal spokesperson part. Doody then appeared as Flannery Sheen's wife and agent, opposite Charlie Sheen, as Major League II became available in 1994. Doody came back to acting in 2003, playing a small part on her role in the British comedy film The Actors, in which Michael Caine played herself at an awards show. In 2004, Doody was in the film in a scene with Patrick Swayze alongside a TV version to King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody appeared on Benjamin's Struggle (2005), which was a pamphlet that described the Holocaust. Doody played a small role in Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). She was also set to take on the role of lead on The Asphyx remake, but the project was cancelled. The year 2011 saw her debut on the first of two seasons on the E4 comedy drama Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. She starred in We Still Kill the Old Way, a 2014 film. She received the Almeria film award on November 21, 2018.
